Iso cooking with Marina



We thought we would share what the ACME team is cooking while in isolation. Marinas made this super simple Tagliatelle o Spaghetti al Pomodoro a couple of times for dinner. Make it, cause you won't regret it.


Tagliatelle o Spaghetti al Pomodoro


500g Tagliatelle or Spaghetti

30ml olive oil

1 medium onion

2 cloves of garlic

2 x 400g cans of plum tomatoes

salt and pepper

60g fresh parmesan cheese - grated



Heat the oil and gently fry the chopped onion and garlic until soft. Add the tomatoes with their juice, sugar, salt, and pepper then cook uncovered on a high heat for about 20 minutes, stirring a little. When it's reduced and thick, check the seasoning then put it into a blender. Cook the pasta, drain then add 1/2 the cheese, stir. Then add the sauce, stir well and add the rest of the cheese and serve.


Goes well with wine, isolation and friendly group chats over the internet.
